The Washington Capitals announced the schedule and 36-man roster for their 2015 development camp, a five-day summer session for prospects beginning next Tuesday at their practice facility in Arlington.
The crop, evenly partitioned with 18 former draft picks and 18 classified as free agents, features a host of skaters expected to spend next season in the American Hockey League, including defenseman Madison Bowey, former first-rounder Jakub Vrana, center Chandler Stephenson and winger Riley Barber, as well as three of their four selections from the 2015 draft. The only one not attending will be Russian goaltender Ilya Samsonov, tabbed 22nd overall last weekend.
