The Hershey Bears began their three-game week with an 11 a.m. tilt Wednesday in Bridgeport, Connecticut. In front of mostly elementary school age children, the Bears battled for a 4-2 win over the Bridgeport Sound Tigers. Paul Carey scored the first Bears goal to equalize in the first period then the third goal to reclaim the lead in the third. Nathan Walker added the fourth goal when Chris Gibson inadvertently passed him the puck while trying to clear the zone. Justin Peters made 39 saves en route to his third win with the Chocolate and White.
