Nicklas Backstrom, Braden Holtby, Tom Wilson, who are members of the group So Kids Can, visited Hendley Elementary in Washington, D.C. on Tuesday, delivering 75 laptops and 45 tablets that Monumental Sports & Entertainment Foundation donated in conjunction with the partnership of DCPS Adopt-a-School Program. They announced that Hendley will be the recipient of a So Kids Can and Heart of America Foundation makeover. So Kids Can was created in 2008 by former Capitals defenseman Mike Green and Elliot Segal of the Elliot in the Morning Show to benefit youth-focused, nonprofit organizations.
