When enough became enough this summer, when too many deadlines had passed and the overdue paychecks still hadn’t arrived, Mark Dekanich opened Twitter and tapped away his grievance. Five months removed from his final game with Medvescak Zagreb, a Croatian club in the KHL, the veteran goaltender was still owed salary. Promises of payment were made and then broken, he said, and emails to the club went unanswered. Eventually, Dekanich decided to go public. He believed he had no other choice.
After patiently waiting 5 months(!) for 1/3 my salary, I've had enough. Taking action via social media is the last resort.
