After the tragic death of pro hockey player Adam Johnson, Caps forward T.J. Oshie, co-founder of Warroad Hockey, was sporting one of his company’s cut-resistant neck guards for the game against the Islanders on Thursday.
“For youth, I hope it shows them that it’s really not a distraction. From my game, I thought I played pretty decent tonight, honestly, it was actually really comfortable. Youth players, I hope if they’re able I hope they can get some type of neck protection. I didn’t even notice it after one shift tonight.
