Caps goalie prospect Adam Carlson got his first win for the Kansas City Mavericks. Carlson made 27 saves in the 3-2 win over the Fort Wayne Komets. It was his third game for Kansas City after the Caps re-assigned him after playing one game with the Indy Fuel.
Carlson is now 1-1-1 in net for the Mavs with a 2.624 goals against average and a .896 save percentage. Carlson is a RFA after this season. He signed a two-year entry level contract with the Caps after his freshman year at Mercyhurst.
