Defenseman Aaron Ness has cleared waivers and will report to Hershey. With Christian Djoos nearing a return from injury, the Caps needed to send someone down to clear a roster spot.
Ness appeared in eight games for the Caps this season and registered a point. Expect Djoos back in the lineup soon, but not tomorrow when the Caps host the Kings.
