The relationship began with a question about routine, one bullet point checked on the early get-to-know-you list. Mitch Korn and Braden Holtby were flying to Minnesota together last summer, on a trip scheduled for both vision training and bonding. The Washington Capitals had hired Korn, their new goaltending coach, to help guide Holtby, their unquestioned starting goaltender, into a new frontier.
