Washington Capitals coach Barry Trotz showed just how tough he truly is on Thursday night, taking an errant stick to the face.
Per Glenn Yoder of the Washington Post, "the 52-year-old stayed behind the bench after Marcus Johansson’s stick sliced Trotz’s forehead early in the Caps’ loss to the Flyers."

Following the game, Trotz had a couple of awesome one-liners about the incident.
“That’s just a scratch,” he said. “My modeling career’s out the door anyway. It’s been out there for a while. You’re supposed to come in Philly and get marked up, aren’t you? I’m the only one who seemed to get marked up.”
Barry Trotz, forehead laceration and all, will be behind the bench for the Capitals on Saturday night when Washington hosts the Detroit Red Wings at the Verizon Center.
