A win and loss left the Demon Deacon women’s soccer team at 3-2-2 entering ACC play, but while the record may not show it, Wake Forest is confident in it’s ability to take on any opponent.
On Sept. 11, the Wake Forest Demon Deacons began their homestand against a very effective attacking UCLA squad. While UCLA pressed early, outshooting the Deacs 5-1 over first 30 minutes, Wake Forest finished the half on a strong note following sophomore Sarah Medina’s 41st minute goal.
It was Medina’s second career goal and her second of this season, which bodes well for the future of the Wake Forest offense.
