The Wake Forest University Police Department (WFUPD) is going through a transitional period this fall after the retirement of several employees over the summer gave the department the chance to create new job positions and amend their hiring and employee selection processes.
“The Wake Forest University Police Department and Human Resources have implemented a number of enhancements to the recruitment and selection process for sworn and non-sworn positions,” according to Sgt. Lesia Finney, the department’s coordinator of community policing.
Some enhancements include the creation of interview committees as well as the addition of new positions within the department.
