The Deacs came out of the bye week firing on all cylinders in this one. In the first 3 possessions of the game, the Wake Forest offense ran 31 plays for 134 yards. In that same time frame, the Wake Forest defense held the Seminoles to 12 plays for 20 yards. This allowed the Deacs to jump out to a quick 10-0 lead on this 9 yard TD catch to Jack Freudenthal.

The defense forced FSU to punt on their next possession and everything seemed to be looking good for the Deacs.
