The Deacs lost their first game of the season Thursday night, falling to the Boston College Eagles by a score of 41-34. Let’s just jump straight into the highlights (before my power goes out).
This game started off about as bad as Wake fans could have guessed, with Boston College star running back AJ Dillon scoring from 45 yards out on the 3rd play of the game.

Dillon finished the game with 33 carries for 185 yards and just this one touchdown.
After a muffed punt from the Eagles later in the first quarter, the Deacs would tie the game at 7 on this 2 yard run from Matt Colburn II.
