Wake Forest Demon Deacons head coach Danny Manning has suspended guards Cornelius Hudson and Rondale Watson for a violation of athletic department rules. The program reported the suspensions via an official statement.
No details were given regarding the exact rules violations. Both players will be eligible to return to the team once they meet, as the statement said, “the criteria for reinstatement.”
Hudson, a sophomore from Dallas, posted 7.5 points and 3.1 rebounds over 22 minutes per game last season. Watson, also a sophomore, averaged 1.5 points over 6.
