Wake Forest has suspended offensive lineman Ryan Anderson for five games and defensive back Thomas Brown for one game. According to ESPN’s Brett McMurphy, no reason was given for the suspension except that both players were guilty of a violation of team rules.

Anderson, a redshirt freshman, was penciled in as the Demon Deacons’ starting center while Brown, set to begin his junior season, was expected to see most of his time at safety.
