The Wake Forest men’s golf team has advanced to the quarterfinals of the NCAA Men’s Golf Championships.
The Deacs will play against Stanford in match play beginning on Tuesday morning after finishing Monday’s round in third place.

Wake Forest was led by senior Lee Detmer who finished the tournament at 2-under par.
As a team the Deacs finished Monday’s round at 3-over, and 20-over for the weekend, which due to the difficulty of the course was good for third.
