Adam Centers, a sophomore place kicker, will miss the 2015 season due to a leg injury. Deacons Illustrated is reporting that Wake Forest head football coach, Dave Clawson, announced this news prior to tonight's 7 p.m. practice. Centers played last year as a true freshman, and was the team's kickoff specialist. He averaged nearly 62 yards per kickoff, and had a touchback percentage of 33%.
Centers was rated by the Kohl's Kicking Service as being the 2nd best place kicker in the 2014 recruiting class. He chose Wake Forest over an offer from the University of Virginia.
