Tayvon Bowers of Bishop McDevitt in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania announced on Wednesday evening that he has committed to Wake Forest University. Bowers is listed anywhere between 6'0" and 6'2" and is listed at 215 pounds. 247 Sports rates him as a 3-star recruit, and he chose Wake Forest over Rutgers.

Bowers completed 233 of his 385 passing attempts (60.5%) last season for 3,576 yards, 42 touchdowns, and 13 interceptions. He also ran the ball 93 times for 395 yards and 3 touchdowns.
