Devin Thomas added 18 points, 10 rebounds and five blocks for the Demon Deacons (7-2), who found themselves in a tie game with about 16 minutes left before using that 13-0 run to stretch out the lead to double figures and take control.
Kayel Locke matched his career high with 25 points to lead the Spartans (4-6), who never got closer than six points again. UNCG committed 17 turnovers that led to 22 points for the Demon Deacons.
