WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- Dinos Mitoglou scored 13 of his 15 points after halftime, including the 3-pointer that started the decisive run to help Wake Forest beat North Carolina State 77-74 on Sunday night.
Devin Thomas added 20 points and 11 rebounds for the Demon Deacons (10-5, 1-2 Atlantic Coast Conference), who led by just a point midway through a second half that saw both teams put together big scoring runs. But Mitoglou's 3 off a kickout from Thomas started a 10-2 burst that finally gave the Demon Deacons a cushion.
Mitoglou had a 3-point play to end the run, which gave Wake Forest a 60-51 lead that eventually reached 11.
