The last time our beloved Wake Forest Demon Deacons took the court against the Virginia Tech Hokies, the game ended in sadness. The Deacs found themselves with a 10-point halftime deficit, as well as a lead as large as 5 in the second half, but missed three shots around the bucket in the final seconds before losing 81-80.
Hopefully Deacon fans are much happier after tonight's performance. The Deacs are a better team than Virginia Tech, but home court advantage is massive in conference play.
