Thomas Cole, a tight end out of West Virginia, has committed to play football for Wake Forest University. Cole is a 2-star recruit according to 247 Sports, and was originally committed to Akron. He stands at 6'5", 230 pounds, and has an excellent frame for the position. He finished his senior season with 77 receptions for 936 yards and 9 touchdowns. He also had 6 rushing attempts for 124 yards and 1 rushing touchdown.

Cole is the second tight end in Wake Forest's 2016 recruiting class, and he will join Brandon Chapman out of Ohio.
