Wake Forest students will soon be able to take classes off campus at the Wake Forest Innovation Quarter as part of a larger zoning project with Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center and Wexford Science and Technology.
The business park already plans to house the Wake Forest School of Medicine, according to the university.
The planned undergraduate classrooms and laboratories will reside next to the medical school, with Wexford Science and Technology as the principle renovator of the building space.
The new space plans to house as many as 350 undergraduate students by 2021.
However, students could be able to use the space beginning as soon as January 2017, according to the Office of News and External Communications.
