The start of the hoops season that actually counts featured a battle with the UMBC Retrievers that, realistically speaking, shouldn't have been a battle. Still, we got the win, and there were some positives to the game, and a couple of them were positives that will help regardless of what team we're playing.
The Ups
The Big Men. Devin Thomas was once again a monster. 21 points, 17 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 blocks. 7-15 shooting, and 7-11 from the line. Konstantinos Mitoglou had 19 points, 16 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 blocks.
