On Saturday, April 11, Wake Forest students gathered on the Magnolia Quad to celebrate Holi, an ancient Hindu religious festival that celebrates the transition into spring. Holi is also known as the festival of colors, thanks to the brightly colored powder participants throw in the air and at each other. At Wake Forest’s Holi celebration, there was free food and performances from groups such as Deacon Dhamaal, an Indian fusion dance group, and Tae Kwon Do, a martial art group.
