Redshirt freshman defensive back Troy Simon announced today on his Twitter feed that he will be transferring from Wake Forest.

Simon was a consensus three-star recruit coming out of Milton High School in Georgia in the 2017 class. He chose Wake over offers from Notre Dame, Mississippi State, and California.
He was ranked as the 75th safety nationally by ESPN, but also a very good corner as well.
