Noah Rubin did something today that he had yet to do in the NCAA Men's Tennis Singles Championship: drop a set. Fortunately, he did not lose two, and he defeated Illinois' No. 23 Jared Hiltzik 6-7 (7), 6-2, 6-2. Rubin will take on No. 19 Thai-Son Kwiatkowski of Virginia, who defeated No. 17 Winston Lin of Columbia. That match will be played tomorrow, with the championship taking place on Monday.
The final four consists entirely of players from the Atlantic Coast Conference. Joining Rubin and Kwiatkowski will be Virginia Ryan Shane and Notre Dame's Quentin Monaghan. On April 26th, Rubin defeated Ryan Shane 7-6(7-5), 6-3.
