No. 1 PG Dennis Smith trims list to six

Class of 2016 five-star recruit and No. 1 point guard in the nation Dennis Smith, out of Trinity Christian School in Fayetteville, North Carolina, has trimmed his potential colleges list down to six programs. Scout.com partner Pack Pride reported the development on Twitter.

The nation's top PG, Dennis Smith, has cut his list to NC State, Duke, UNC, Wake Forest, Louisville, and Kentucky according to ESPN.

Each program could be an ideal fit for Smith, who is fast and feisty at 6-foot-1, 173 pounds. N.C. State has a great isolation system that favors the guard under head coach Mark Gottfried, while Duke and UNC offer fast-paced games that require an athletic point guard with a team-first approach.
