The NFL Draft Weekend in Nashville has come and gone. The Wake Forest Demon Deacons kept their streak alive of having a player selected with OL Phil Haynes getting selected early on Day 3 in Round 4.
Haynes had quietly crept up the draft board after a strong combine performance where he quelled doubts about his athleticism. The Seattle Seahawks will luckily have a hard-working and experienced offensive lineman.
Fellow Beef Boy Ryan Anderson will get his shot with the Miami Dolphins.
Perhaps as relatively surprising it was for Haynes to go a bit earlier than expected was WR Greg Dortch not being selected at all.
