Men’s Soccer: Quick start puts Deacs in top-25

Two games, two wins — a promising start for first-year Wake Forest men’s soccer coach Bobby Muuss. Muuss coached his first two regular season games at Spry Stadium this weekend on Friday, Aug. 28 and Sunday, Aug. 30 respectively. Coming off two exhibition games in the previous days, a 1-1 tie at Furman and a 3-0 home victory against Kentucky — the team had developed momentum in preseason play.

Wake Forest, a relatively young squad, started three freshmen in Sam Raben, Jack Harrison and Brad Dunwell, having to rely on the leadership of one lone senior. Michael Gamble, the award-winning senior forward will have to lead these young Wake Forest underclassmen this year.
