While Wake Forest got most of its 2018 recruiting class signed in late December, there are a couple of loose ends and the biggest one was tied up early this morning when Marquis Alston, Jr, a cornerback out of Georgia, signed with Wake Forest.
The 3-star cornerback out of Kennesaw, Ga. chose Wake Forest over West Virginia and a slew of other offers from lower tier schools. According to 247Sports Alston, Jr. is the 69th cornerback in the class and a top 800 national player overall for the class of 2018.
Alston, Jr. committed to Wake Forest after a weekend visit in late January and gave the coaching staff a verbal on his final day of the trip.
