Former Wake Forest basketball player Len Chappell has died at the age of 77.
Chappell played at Wake Forest from 1959-1962, and had his number 50 retired.

- only player in Wake Forest history with 50 points and 20 rebounds in a game
- most points in a single season with 932
- highest scoring average at 30.
