Les Johns of Deacons Illustrated is reporting that Kahlil Welsh is transferring from Wake Forest. Welsh is a defensive lineman out of Jacksonville, Florida, who was rated as a 3-star recruit coming out of high school. He was part of the 2015 recruiting class, and redshirted last fall.
Redshirt freshman defensive lineman Kahlil Welsh is no longer with the Wake Forest football team, coach Clawson announced today.

Welsh was not expected to start this season, but I did expect that he would be rotated in.
