Former N.C. State stars Torry Holt and Dewayne Washington have teamed up to take over the Heritage High School (Wake Forest, N.C.) football program.

Washington, a former Wolfpack defensive back, was named the Huskies head coach. Washington was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers with the 18th overall pick in the 1994 NFL draft and would play 12 seasons in the NFL.

"We feel that Coach Washington is a great fit for our program, our school, and to our current coaching staff," Heritage athletic director Pat Kennedy told HighSchoolOT.
