DeAndre' Delaney, an all-purpose back on Tennessee, announced on his Twitter page that he has committed to play football for Wake Forest University. He is a consensus 2-star prospect, and was previously committed to Chattanooga. He is listed at 6'2", 200 pounds. During his senior campaign, he racked up 1,863 rushing yards, 377 receiving yards, and 26 total touchdowns. He camped this summer at Wake Forest as both a running back and a safety (h/t Deac94 of OGBoards).
Delaney is Wake Forest's 21st commit of the 2016 recruiting class. At this point it's probably best to classify him as an athlete right now, as it's unclear exactly which position he'll play.
