Wake Forest continues to stock up on football commits for the 2016 recruiting class. This afternoon, Cade Carney, a 5'1" 195-pound running back out of Davidson Day High School, committed to the Demon Deacons. Carney is a 3-star running back, and is rated as the 69th best back in the country, according to 247's Composite Ratings. He chose Wake Forest over North Carolina and East Carolina.
Carney is a very good athlete, and had the highest SPARQ score of anyone at #TheOpening Regional Event in Charlotte. At the event he ran a laser-timed 4.53 second 40-yard dash, and had a 40 inch vertical leap.
