Allyson Felix set the Olympic record for women's track and field medals when she won her 10th with a bronze in the 400 meters Friday at the Tokyo Olympics.
Felix matched Carl Lewis' overall Olympic record and passed Merlene Ottey of Jamaica for the women's mark.
Shaunae Miller-Uibo of the Bahamas defended her gold medal from the Rio de Janeiro Games, running 48.36 in Tokyo. Marileidy Paulino (49.20) of the Dominican Republic took silver ahead of Felix (49.46).
Joshua Cheptegei of Uganda won the gold medal in the men's 5,000 meters a week after earning silver in the 10,000.
