“Zao Cha,” which in English means “The Morning tea,” is a common food tradition that originated in southern China. Mostly on weekends, family members get together in a restaurant around 10 a.m. or 11 a.m., and stay there having various kinds of Dim Sum and tea until around 1 p.m. or 2 p.m. “Morning tea” is like brunch in American, only the atmosphere is much louder in China than in America. People laugh and talk about their weeks, and pure happiness penetrates through the air. Based on my love for “Zao Cha,” here I will introduce 5 kinds of Dim Sum that you can’t miss if you are having “morning tea.
