2016 guard Richard Washington, who holds an offer from Wake Forest, communicates with the basketball staff regularly, according to Scout's Rob Harrington. Washington talks to Coach Steve Woodberry the most, and talks to Head Coach Danny Manning "like twice a week." When a recruit is talking to the head coach twice per week, then clearly the team is interested. He has previously visited campus, and plans to visit again in June. Washington, a 3-star recruit according to Scout, has had an impressive spring and averaged 13 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists during the first two Adidas Gauntlet events.
