The Virginia Tech Hokies (1-1) look for the second consecutive win as they head across the Commonwealth to take on the Old Dominion Monarchs (0-2).
This is Virginia Tech’s third-ever trip to S.B. Ballard Stadium, and the Hokies have lost the first two meetings, including the 2022 season opener. Tech did get revenge on the Monarchs last season in Blacksburg.
Old Dominion quarterback Grant Wilson, who started last season’s game in Blacksburg, is questionable for Saturday’s game. If Wilson can’t go, Colton Joseph will get the start under center for ODU. Joseph is the type of dual-threat quarterback who has given Virginia Tech’s defense fits over the years.
