Been there, done that. That week after a loss is always about something, anything that “motivates” you to do better. Often that involves reminders of what you messed up on in the loss. Of course, the Vanderbilt loss was also a double gut punch because of the Hokies’ preseason expectations and their being broad favorites to go with that.

Wednesday brought early Fall temperatures back to Blacksburg, but little in the way of cloud cover to break the sunlight. As it approaches fall, the days are shortening, and the roughly 5:00 time for photography is changing from the earlier weeks’ opportunities.
