No one is going to look a win in the mouth and complain too much. The Hokies covered the spread and pushed the O button on the over/under line, but there were some issues to talk about, later.
For now, the big stars of the game for the Hokies were Kyron Drones, Bhayshul Tuten, and a Jaylin Lane. Drones did throw an ill-advised deep pick, but generally didn’t put the ball into bad situation. He did connect with a few really good passes (and one amazingly weird broken play) to Jaylin Lane, one for a touchdown, and one for a huge chunk of yardage on what could have been a disaster.
