The first cut at the risk analysis chart of the Hokies’ 2024 football schedule left us with a possibility of a really big season. There was one big caveat, though. Tech had to sweep their first three games and be in position to beat Rutgers for their second home game of the season.
Umm... That definitely did not happen. As before in the analysis we sought to establish the risk that Virginia Tech presented to their opponents for the season. Some of those were individually adjusted in the chart based on the opponent and the anticipated experience level that Tech would present, so we were a High risk to UVA, and a Moderate-High risk to Duke, etc.
