The Megan Duffy era of Virginia Tech Hokie Women’s Basketball began with a familiar face in a different role opening the season with the first tipoff. There was a bit of a tussle, but Tech grabbed the opportunity, took the ball quickly down the court, and with a nice assist by Carleigh Wenzel, Matilda Ekh drained a three-pointer to open the scoring for the game.
