It’s really quiet. It hasn’t been particularly hot this Summer. The rainfall has been plentiful enough to produce some impressive corn crops that line the roads for miles. We did have a pretty heavy infestation of June Bugs and some other beetle the size of a penny that managed to fly just high enough to bother the dogs when they were outside attending to business, hunting fur bearing critters, and feathered creatures. The breeze has kept the air fresh and the sun peaks through huge cumulus clouds that wander by and occasionally spit some drops.
The Summer of 2017 has certainly been uneventful in Blacksburg, Virginia.
