Virginia Tech head coach Brent Pry sent the signal out shortly after 3 p.m. ET Thursday, which meant the Hokies have another commitment.
This time, it’s Forest Park High School (Woodbridge, Va.) offensive lineman Nathaniel Wright. The 6-foot-5, 275-pounder made it official that he was attending Virginia Tech. Wright announced his commitment via X — on his birthday.
The Hokies officially offered Wright over a year ago, and he visited Blacksburg earlier this month. It was an official visit, which confirmed what he had known for a while — he wanted to be a Hokie.
Wright had 16 offers, a number that could grow this fall.
