Two Virginia Tech greats still active in the NFL, are going into the Virginia Tech Sports Hall of Fame.
Virginia Tech announced Monday that quarterback Tyrod Taylor and offensive tackle Duane Brown are two of eight players going into the school’s Hall of Fame.
An elite prospect out of Hampton in 2007, Taylor played all four years for the Hokies, becoming the primary starting quarterback his sophomore year. Virginia Tech won two ACC championships with Taylor under center. For his career, Taylor passed for 7,017 yards, with 44 touchdowns and 20 interceptions. Taylor also rushed for 2,196 yards and 23 touchdowns.
