The Virginia Tech Hokies have had numerous players enter the NCAA transfer portal since the conclusion of spring practice. Most of those players were lower on the depth chart and looking for other opportunities to play. Yet, the Hokies hadn’t brought anyone in through the portal.
That changed Wednesday when North Dakota State defensive tackle Kody Huisman announced he would spend his final college season in Blacksburg.

Huisman’s first college season was 2021, and he redshirted.
