The NCAA transfer portal spring window opened this week, and it’s been busy. Three players entered from Virginia Tech immediately: redshirt freshman quarterback Davi Belfort, redshirt offensive lineman Web Davidson and redshirt sophomore center Caleb Nitta.
On Thursday, we learned of two more names. Twin brothers, Jayden and Jorden McDonald, are both entering the portal.

After much prayer and discussion with my family, I’ve decided it will be best for me at this time to enter into the NCAA transfer portal with two years of eligibility remaining. Thank you to my teammates and my coaches for everything.
