Virginia Tech’s positive recruiting momentum continued in a big way on Friday afternoon when four-star running back Ramon Brown picked the Hokies.
Brown, a 5-foot-11, 202-pounder from Manchester High in Midlothian, Virginia, picked the Hokies over West Virginia, Maryland, Penn State and South Carolina. He just named his top five this past week after visiting each of his finalists officially in June.
There is no way around it; this is a huge win for head coach Justin Fuente and the Hokies. Virginia Tech’s 2020 recruiting class was lackluster overall, at least as far as rankings go. The 2021 class was better but still a cause for concern.
